Leicester, MA (February 09, 2016) — The Disc Golf Pro Tour, the premier North American disc golf tour, is proud to announce its partnership with DUDE, which is pushing disc sports specific apparel design to its ideal state.

As part of the agreement, Pro Tour apparel will be designed and manufactured by DUDE. The apparel will include hats, dry fit polos, tech shirts, and cotton tees for both men and women. The classic and simple designs will showcase both the fit and confidence that DUDE brings to the table. Additionally, DUDE will be the presenting sponsor of one of the festival games, so come on by and interact with this exciting group of discs and apparel designers.

DUDE, an Australian based company, stands for Down Under Disc Evolution. It was founded in 2009 to empower the individual and capture the imaginings of youth whilst assisting in the growth of Disc Golf and Frisbee Sports. Their playground is the world and the disc is what brings all of us together, creating an impassioned tribe of people to evolve as one. DUDE is dedicated to developing a line of apparel specifically for the sport of Disc Golf and Ultimate Frisbee. In 2016, the Disc Golf Pro Tour will consist of five events plus a Tour Championship. Additionally, the Pro Tour will have live coverage, in-depth statistics, spectator friendly venues as well as a disc golf festival, and pro player meet and greets and clinics.

The Pro Tour has the:

  • best courses – four of the five events are played on top 20 courses in the world
  • best venues – all of the venues are private facilities or well supported public spaces
  • best players – all of the top 10 pro players in the world are playing the Pro Tour
